Dr. Ramesh Sachdeva - Driving Quality Improvements in Pediatric Care

Dr. Ramesh Sachdeva

With more than three decades of experience as a physician, Dr. Ramesh Sachdeva serves as the associate executive director of the American Academy of Pediatrics, where he oversees the appointment process for the National Committee and has created the Department for Subspecialty Pediatrics. Dr. Ramesh Sachdeva has also established a quality education strategy that focuses on improving the quality of care throughout the Southeastern United States that was financed by a grant from the Tomorrow’s Children Endowment Fund.

Dr. Ramesh Sachdeva previously engaged with the Children’s Hospital and Health System, Inc., in Milwaukee as its chief quality officer and corporate vice president. He spearheaded a host of quality improvement measures spanning the health system and hospital. He also ensured the alignment of research and various services, including those of the primary care physician and health plan, through a balanced scorecard system.

The principal investigator in a grant-funded Project ECHO program focused on pediatrics, Dr. Ramesh Sachdeva was invited to participate in a MetaECHO panel in New Mexico in April 2016. The panel’s foci encompassed the coordination of national and international efforts to impact population health by implementing new technology.
